A few of my cycling friends have felt quite unwell this past couple of weeks cycling in temperatures in excess of 30 degrees. So today, Linda who led us, decided to start a bit earlier and also keep the ride short. The 4 of them called in to pick me up at home on the way to Hurst, and we did a ride similar to my very first Breeze ride several years ago, when 13 miles seemed like a massive ride.
We stopped off at Dinton Cafe on our return for a leisurely cuppa and catch up. Nice to see Jackie who I don't see so much these days due to overlap of ride groups on different days. We have a good laugh reminiscing about past holidays, when life was somewhat different to current times.
Dinton was looking decidedly autumnal today, with leaves down no doubt after last nights storm. Today is MUCH cooler and very refreshing, so it was lovely to be out without gasping in the heat. Thanks for your good company ladies.
