Wokingham to Warren Row - 27 miles

Thanks to Elise for organising a friends ride today, with Karan and Linda B. Linda cycled this route yesterday too, which from Finch is 33 miles. Well done Linda!

We managed an average speed of 12.5 which is quite fast enough for me.

I met the ladies at The Warren Pub and we headed over to Hungerford Lane, then West End Lane to Waltham, St Lawrence.     A loud BANG from Karan's bike as we left Waltham St. Lawrence was an instant puncture, so we (Karen leading!) got stuck in and were soon under way again.

Crossing over the A4 at Hare Hatch into Tag Lane, then up Crazies Hill.Warren Row Road to Velolife  Bike Cafe where we stopped for refreshments. Karan used their foot pump to top up her tyre, and I did the same to mine, which interestly were only at 40 and 60 psi.  I pumped them to 90, and found the route back a doddle! Note - must blow tyres up more in future!!

Crossing back of the A4 into Bottle Lane, and to Shurlock Row, and finally back to Wokingham.

A bit on the dull side with a few spits and spots of rain. The scent from the fields of rape is  lovely, but not great for the hay fever.

Leaving Wokingham at Warren Road

Following the loud BANG and looking for the culprit.  Flint stone we thought

Almost done

I stopped to take the next photo just off Crazies Hill Road

The Old Barn now a modern home. Nice enough, but preferred the rusty old barn.
