Yateley loop - 22 miles

A shorter ride today since I needed to home by noon, to go an pick up Jack and Holly who are staying a few days during half term.  Rode with Gill and Linda R today.

We met at Morrison's, fairly equidistant for both of them, and headed down Smith's Walk only to find a fallen tree blocking our path. We wiggled through some Woosehill streets and joined Smith's Walk further along, then headed down Blagrove Lane. The fields had a heavy dew this morning, and this photo had 3 deer looking at us, gone before I managed to capture them.

Then across to Ludrove, where I spotted these shadows. A U3A group passed us, led by Susie.

Down Honey Hill, and then across the path to connect to Heathands Road.

Next we crossed through Ravenswood to the golf course

heading next to Ambarrow, we skirted the lakes, using Lower Sandhurst Road, and down the hill on Longwater Lane. Straight over, behind the pub and into Chequers Lane, where we stopped for a nose blow.

Into Yateley, and we stopped for a cuppa at the Sean Devereax golf club. Sat inside today, since the outside chairs were rather wet from last nights rain.

A bit of dash home now, continuing round the lakes, and up Dell Road, the Church Lane, and down Whitehorse Lane, to cut through California Park.

A quick lunch, the off to collect Jack and Holly.  Short bike rides with them over the next few days!
