My new Go Pro8 arrived yesterday, so I wanted to try it out. The handlebar grip arrives soon, so I used the Chesty instead. The footage was perfectly smooth, and very easy to switch on and off too.
John wanted to investigate how to cross over the A33 at Three Mile Cross, so that was part of the reason for this route. We cut through the woods from Simons Lane, to the Walter Arms, and along the Sindlesham Road, passing Arborfield Church. Then along the main road all the way to L'Ortalon. Not a route we would ever do in normal times due to traffic, but it was fine. The A33 junction was easy. Just got off and walked across the traffic lights, then back onto a cycle path for a short distance. The roads of course were very quiet anyway.
route
Some nice lanes beyond Three Mile Cross, and we realised we would be pretty close to our recently moved friends Peter and Dorothy. This meant we had climb up Man's Hill to Burghfield Common, which was the only time we used power today. We sat at a good distance in their garden for a few minutes to catch up, then returned down Man's Hill, and over a nice route to Stratfield Mortimer. From here a familiar route home via Beech Hill, then Swallowfield and over Farley Hill.
All today's photos taken from GoPro, by simply saying "GoPro take a photo" .
