10 of us met today at Lily Hill Park for a ride to Windsor Great Park, and welcomed Sue Clark to her first Breeze Ride. The Bracknell ladies of course rode to the start but so did the Crowthorne/ Finch ladies. Well done you lot! They clocked up about 30+ miles in total.
We generally split into two groups of 5, for the main roads, and also within the park, due to park rules, but were never out of sight of each other.
The ride I had planned was infact 20 miles, but with my Garmin getting confused at times, (this happens when you loop back on the same route), thankfully Susie who knew this ride well was able to guide us at times, as she had the route in her head. Her route however reduced it to 17.5miles, by bringing us back via the A329 cycle path, rather than more of a mostly there and back ride which was my plan.
What a beautiful crisp morning and the park was looking gorgeous. It's as if they had been out with a dustpan and brush just before we arrived. Not a bit of debris in site.
The ride took us into the Deer park, with views of the long walk down to the Castle. I stopped here for a photo.... and here it is!

I took a similar photo of two beautiful stags right next to the path!! I realise you cant see anything because both photos are WHITE! I hadn't realised that my camera had moved in my bag to Shutter Priority instead of Aperture, letting too much light in. Grrrr. Fortunately I realised when I took the next photo..

A great day to be out to blow away the cobwebs. Thanks all for your good company as ever. And for the record, this is the second ride in two days I have done, and second day with no cake!!
