Pet Barn Rotherfield Peppard to Benson via Ipsden - 26.5 miles 1300 feet

Hot hot hot. Bank holiday Sunday and out with John today.

My Garmin gone for repair, so plotted the ride once got back  home. All familiar, just not in the same order as before.

John still recovering from being unwell for a few weeks, so we both used our power buttons at times today, which was fun. Still had to work, and felt the heat particularly towards the end

Garmin route

Started at Pet Barn, and over to Kidmore End, keep right at the church junction where once went wrong and ended up in Caversham, then straight over into the start of Wyfold Road. Cycled the entire length, passed all turnings, passing the piggies shortly before Stoke Row. Left through SR then left off of the road, and enjoyed the long run down Berins Hill to Well Place.

Right at X roads, passing the King William sign, and straight on all the way to the main road, crossing over and into the edge of Wallingford. Right at roundabout and then eventually left through Crowmarsh stopping at Benson Waterfront for drinks.

Through Benson Village to Ewelme, then up the hill to the right opposite the school, crossing straight over the two main roads and straight on again ( not the Nuffield Climb), back to Ipsden. Passed the King William  once more, straight over, at all junctions, passing Brazier Park, and finally up Bottom Hill. (emerges at Checkendon Equestrian Centre).  Dogleg over into Checkendon, then passed the "bluebells" if they were there, to the junction we passed earlier on Wyfold Road. Then left into Wyfold Lane continuing all the way to Unicorn Pub. Right turn, and back to start.
