Windsor Park to Dorney via Jubilee River - 22.5 miles

Since it's Easter school holidays, it was just myself and Jeanette free to ride today. Jeanette drove us to Watersplash Lane to our starting point.

Route

We enjoyed a very quiet ride through Windsor Great Park. There was almost no one else there!

In the Great Park. A freshly ploughed field

Once through the park, we followed the cycle path into Windsor. Castle just visible here on the skyline

now following the Thames in Windsor, heading to cross at Eton Bridge
Once over Eton bridge, we continued into Eton and joined the Jubilee River path for a few miles, before joining back over towards Dorney.

Crossing Dorney Common, where the cattle are free to graze

pulling in alongside Dorney Court. The lawn unfortunately cut with the grass trimming left to die on the top, so not
looking very lush.

Delighted that after Wednesday's ride to Sonning, where the Earl Grey was 90p extra.... today's tea was just 5 pence extra.

Following the Thames again back towards Windsor. The pretty church always looks nice.
Chapel of St Mary Magdalene.
Finally, retraced our route back up into the Great Park, which strangely enough is always uphill from the Thames!
