I am two days late with my post, since we have had grandchildren staying and not a moments peace. Stephanie led Wednesday's ride, which turned out to be a mystery tour. But we were never lost, just not quite where she intended us to be. I started from home, and joined them at FBC. My first ride on my electric bike! I only used the power twice, for a bit of fun. This ride is almost flat.

The route took us around the Hurst Lanes, then on to Waltham St Lawrence. From there we continued almost to the A4. At this point Stephanie realised, we were not heading back to Dinton, (blame her Garmin) our planned tea stop. We turned back down Church Lane, Ruscombe, into Twyford, past the Vineyard and we were then back through Hurst.
It is school Easter break, so Dinton was a bit busy and full of kids. I offered for the ladies to continue on to my house/garden for a more relaxing tea stop. This would also help to consume some left over cakes I had to save me from eating them all!

There they go in the distance. I switched on my battery after I took this to catch up with the group. I normally have to peddle fast to catch up, but today it was easy! |

Much more civilised that tea at Dinton where school kids on holiday. My own garden. |
