Crazies Hill to Turville - Filming Day

Since just 4 of us booked on today's ride,  I asked my friend from the video club Eric if he was free and willing to come along on his motorbike to do some filming.

I am working over several months on a documentary film about the Breeze Cycling Group, and was keen to get started in the freshness of spring. It was useful for Eric to be able to pull over on his motorbike, set up his tripod which he carried in his backpack, wait for us, then get ahead again to a different location.  He commented that we cycled too fast.... he was never quite ready! lol.

Stephanie led todays ride and Linda B and Linda joined us.  We parked at Crazies Hill, then into Henley and met up with Eric at Lower Assendon. We climbed the hill to Fawley, and then over to Southend. Linda H took a phone call which meant she had to spend a bit of time on another call, so we left her, hoping to catch her later. She later told us she missed the turn to Northend, (went right instead of left), so also missed Turville, so we never saw her again.  (she called to say she was back at her car!)

I asked the owner of this Porsche if I could photograph him as he was leaving. He said yes, but not with
him driving... would I like to get in?  So, her I am!

We also had a quick Chat with Lady Hambleden, who remembered me when I mentioned I helped her with her bags a few weeks ago. Lovely lady.

We left Eric at Hambleden as we had to cross the weir to get back up the hill to Crazies Hill.
A fun day out. Got back at almost 3pm.
