A friends ride today with Liliana and Hazel to Hawthorne Hill
Garmin route which turned itself off part way round, but you get the general idea!
Liliana and I started from my home, and we met up with Hazel at Warren House Inn, then up Carters Hill

Next, around the back of Binfield on Stubbs Hill and Ryhurst Lane. Turning right on Bottle Lane, we rode behind Moss End Garden Centre, and right at the green triangle.

A loop to add a few miles took us past Fernygrove Farm Shop, even though we knew that it did not open on Mondays. Instead, we stopped at Moss on our way back around the loop. Once back on Bottle Lane, we did a loop down to Westley Mill, where these snowdrops were looking lovely.
Hazel left us as we turned towards Shurlock Row. Her bike was making some strange noises and she headed home to get it fixed in time for tomorrows ride. Liliana and I returned via The Straight Mile (both of them) and back through Cantley.
A beautiful day, and though the temperature was just above freezing, the sunshine made it feel very pleasant.
