Stroke Row to Benson - 23 miles

Linda H led a route today around the Chilterns starting in Stoke Row. Well done Linda!

Carole and Bev joined us.

From Stoke Row we headed to Checkendon, then to Woodcote, down the big hill to South Stoke. Then the undulating climb to Ipsden, and Benson for tea stop on the river. Next though Benson village, passing the Watercress beds intoto  Ewelme. We stopped for a few minutes to see the gardens at the Almshouses, recenlty replanted,  before the climb began to get back up to Nuffield, and finally back to Stoke Row. Phew.

The normal billowing Lavender hedge has been replanted! Will be looking good next year though.
