Scorchio today, and everyone out in short sleeves for the first time this year.
Chris led today, assisted by Jill and Michelle. Not seen Michelle for a long time, so good that she could join us again.
At the end of Nine Mile Ride we cut through Hogwood Industrial Park to connect to Church Lane, Arborfield, but encoutered a road block in the form of 3 geese in the industrial park, who not amused by our presence! We were severely "hooted" at as we passed them.

Once through the industrial park, into a lovley shady lane
Then a short climb up to Farley Hill
On to Swallowfield, turning left into Part Lane. I went ahead for a chance to photograph the group and stopped next to these wild Geraniums.

We were heading for a tea stop at Wellington country park, and as dismounted , I spotted the reflections of the group in a doorway.

A kind passerby took this photo, so I am in it for a change. |
We now return via School Road, Swallowfield, and then turned left and towards Arborfield. Most f the views to the left blocked by hedging, but I spotted this gap with a gate.

Negotiating the busy roundabout in next to the Bull pub. |
Gorgeous day to be out. Thanks to the Breeze Champs of course, and to the ladies for your company.
