A grey, grey day with touches of more grey. But at least not windy, as it had often been for months.
Stephanie led just 5 of us today. Carol, Kay, Jackie, Chris, and me. Chris has just done her Breeze Leader training, so for now can be an extra assistant until she does her first aid course. Well done Chris!
We have done this route a few times now, and since the weather was so grey, didn't bother with photos other than at our tea stop.
The route
We took one wrong turning where Barge Lane meets Bull Lane which meant we approached our tea stop from Welsh Lane........ to be avoided in future! Its a climb!!
As we parked up we noticed some chickens in the car park, and they had kindly had laid us some cream eggs!
I seemed to be struggling a bit today on my hybrid and only 5 minutes from home realised that my suspension was on. Was that thanks to my visiting grandson who was admiring my bike just before I left?
