A wonderful variety in today's ride led by Kelly. Starting in Windsor Great Park, across to Windsor past the Castle, over Eton Bridge, and out to Dorney. A tour around Dorney Lake, then back to Windsor via the Thames Path.
I had GoPro on my handlebars today, so took a few screen grabs for the blog and will add the film in the new few days.
The
Route (takes a few seconds to open)

As we approach the park exit , horse riders, cross in front |
As we arrived in Windor, traffic held for the changing of the guards, but we were allowed through pushing our bikes, then followed them up to the Castle.
Next, over Eton Bridge, and left in to Meadow Lane, towards Dorney

Tea stop at Dorney Court Garden Centre. Some people were weak and had cake. |
Next we went round Dorney Lake, and attempted using my selfie stick for filming..... hmmm

Susie made it into a photo. Pure luck! |
Leaving Dorney Lake, we took a route through the join the Thames, following the path to Boveney Lock, and all the way back to Windsor.
From river level, the inevitable climb out through Windsor Park, back to our vehicles around 1.45pm. Starving! Finally got lunch at 3pm!!
Thanks again Kelly for giving up your morning, especially as you were understandably a bit knackered from yesterday. Thanks to the others for your company.
