A "Breeze" ride this morning, unusually for a Saturday. This allowed a few more to join us who are unable to ride our normal Wednesday ride. Official start at Finchampstead Baptist Church, but I cycled from home the 3.2 miles to the start. We were 12 in total with 2 leaders, Carole and Jill.
In the group today lots of names beginning with J! Jill, Jo, Juliette, Julie, Jan and Jackie. As well as Susie, Chris, Alison, and Sally and me.

Treaturous conditions as I cut through Apple Close and up Magnolia Way onto the Barkham Road. Loads of black ice. This continued down Blagrove Lane which has a lot of overhanging tree shade.

Nashgrove Lane a mess as usual, but at least not icy |

Some pretty views to some Lakes on Nashgrove Lane. Private property I think |
|
Still on Nashgrove Lane, football spectators, no doubt feeling the cold |
|
The perimeter of the football field had a lovely group of trees, with dog walkers enjoying the sunshine |

Our meeting point at FBC. What a colourful group! |

As we pulled up at the junction of Doles Lane/Barkham Road poor Susie hit some black ice and came off. Fortunately no damage done. |

Upon arrival at Dinton, the majority of us did a circuit of Black Swan Lake, whilst 2 swanned off the the coffee shop. |

I left the group after this as was almost home. |
Lovely morning out, and clocked up 15 miles...... effortlessly. LOVE my new bike!! It just goes by itself most of the time.
