Nice to see leader Carole back from holiday. 3 more recently trained Breeze "champions" also joined us today, so we were 13 in total. We had strict instructions to turn out with Christmas in mind, so we all raided our Christmas boxes in the loft last night!
We met at the carpark at Finchampstead Baptist Centre, by which time I had clocked up 3.5 miles.

Regrouping, and after this we split into 2 groups |
Stopping for photos with such a big group is difficult, so not to many enroute photos today.
Upon reaching Winnersh, some of us continued round the Hurst Lanes at a
furious pace ( for us!) before joining the rest of the group for mince pies and drinks at Dinton Pastures cafe, very kindly supplied by Carole. Thank you Carole.
Susie presented a little gift to Carole to say thanks for all her hard work encouraging us all to get on our bikes. Susie also wrote a poem for Carole.
To Carole, by Susie Holdsworth
Each week you’ve led us down a different route with ease
To show that cycling is really fun and just a Breeze.
We’ve pedalled and laughed and chatted ‘til the break
Then you’ve shown us the perfect spot for coffee and a slice of cake!
Our bikes are now stuffed with things that glow (thanks to Jill)
So we can be seen wherever we go!
We want to say "Thank you" for all the rides that you’ve led
And wish you glad tidings for the season ahead!
