After picking Susie up from Crowthorne in the van, we drove and park above Wargrave. Our first few miles took us through Crazies Hill, and out to Remenham Hill. A very overcast day.
We enjoyed the long mile or so freewheel down to Hambleden Lock at the Thames
| At Hambleden Lock. Its only November, and the river is already very high. |
| Debris gathering at the weir. I wonder if we will have a repeat of last year when garden benches were amongst the debris? |
| A guard of  honour seagull style awaits us ,crossing the river |
After tea and mince pie at Hambleden Village store, we cycled a bit further, still with grey skies.
Time pressures today meant  we needed to plan to head back soon.  |
And now we prepare  for the climb  back up Rememham hill! Well done Susie, who made it in one.  I followed 30 seconds behind. |

| Retracing our steps back through Crazies Hill and to the Van, parked up above Wargrave. 14 miles. |
