Out with Hubby today. Drove to Wargrave, and parked up above the town.
| 1st stop to admire the views. Sky unfortunately very overcast |
2 or 3 miles out of Wargrave, then  it was all downhill
to the Flower Pot as Aston........ which means all uphill later. |
| Followed the path from the Flowerpot across to the Thames |
| The Thames at Hambleden Lock |
| Thames at Hambleden. Is that the sun we can see? |
This lady in Red is with her daughter on Quail, which started out at
Little Venice, London. The are awaiting their turn to enter the lock. |
| She thought it hilarious that we should want her in the photo. |
Boat  leaving the lock, so that Quail can enter heading
towards Reading. |
| Lovely old boat doing a u turn at the weir. |
| Great reflections today of the Old Mill building |
| The trees too have wonderful reflections in the river. |
Turning off the road here which leads to Hambleden towards
Rotten Row............ a bit of a climb! |
Sorry out of focus! Hubby disappearing round the corner.
I was walking by this stage. |
How on earth is that Beech tree still standing?
It's roots are surrounded by fresh air!! |
| Tea stop at Hambleden Village Store, along with a  few other cyclists. |
Sheep enjoying a drink at the little stream which runs across
the field into the village. |
Small detour at the other end of the field, looking back
towards Hambleden Village |
| Hello. Feeling very brave with a gate between us! |
Colourful group of walkers ahead as we head back across
Hambleden Weir |
Cycling is not permitted across the bridge, so a chance for a rest
before the hill back up out of Henley!
Actually it wasn't as bad as I had feared. Cycled the whole way,
with just 2 short stops to catch my breath. A good morning. 16.2 miles, |
