Just back from Slovenia last night, and a hair appt at 10 o'clock this morning. Sue was doing a Breeze ride starting Cantley at 9.30 and cycling to Crowthorne to the old TRL site. They were heading out towards Finchampstead and around the Lakes nr Yately.
Another new cafe, Esquires, has just opened there (3 now), so I messaged to say I might be able to make for 11am, to join the return loop. I left at 10.40 and doing 12mph, I cut through Gorrick Woods. I made it to the cafe at exactly the same time as the group!
Nice to chat sitting outside in the sunshine, after a cooler start this morning. But with rain forecast after 1pm, we were fortunate to get home in time to stay dry. I only did 11 miles, but it was nice to get out.
