Breeze Champ Jill, led her 150th Breeze Ride today! She has built up slowly over several years, since she still works part time. But quite an achievement. Well done Jill. A lot of ladies owe you a big thanks.
Jill had the idea of "Back to where she started", which was in 2016, advertising today's ride as a repeat of her first ever ride that she led. It was from FBC to Dinton Pastures, with the optional loop of an extra 5 miles round some of the Hurst Lane, for those who wanted to do this.
I noticed last night that there was still a space, so asked Jill if she would mind if I tagged along... as a rider, not a leader. (Sue P already assisting). I had a lunch appt at 12, so met them at Woosehill as they past through, and also peeled off on the way back.
It was lovely to see Rachael C back on her bike! She has been very busy for the last few years, but hopes now to ride more regularly. Also very nice to meet Colleen. And of course all the other more familiar faces.
I only took one photo, so just a record of the group, although I did take a few more photos on Jill's phone for her to use on Facebook.
