I had suggested a get together a few weeks ago for the "active" Breeze champs to meet up for a short ride and lunch. Cathy, Jill, Chris, Carole and Me. We rarely see each other these days, and certainly never all at once. Having organised it, Carole then shared the news that she will be moving away very soon to pastures new, and so it became a farewell ride too. Chris suggested the route, which was a bitsa of bits and pieces of rides we all did led by Carole when we first joined Breeze. I have not seen Chris, or Jill for ages!
We met at Holme Grange Craft Centre, and I took a couple of photos as I crossed through at Ludgrove.

We were now heading for Dinton Pastures, via a few Hurst Lanes, and had planned to have a hot drink in the brand spanking new cafe just opened at the Watersports centre.

The sun broke through, just as we left Dinton, and we headed back to Wokingham via Sadlers Lane, and Woosehill, to drop down Blagrove Lane. Then to California Park, then UP White Horse Lane to The Queen's Oak where had booked for lunch. We rejected the inside table, since it was now pleasantly warm in the garden.

(I had ordered a card online, which arrived when I got home after lunch. It's not quite what I ordered, but will drop it to Carole in the next couple of days anyway. For Happy Birthday, read "Happy New Home" 😂)
