A quick spin for an hour this morning before the next storm arrives tomorrow. We were due to go to lunch near Newbury, so had to keep it short. John wanted to test a new peddle on his bike to see if it has fixed a squeak. Seems to have worked.
Parking at Mill Lane, within just a mile we were climbing through Harpsden on Woodlands Road. I hadn't quite warmed up, so was glad to stop for a couple of photos on the way. It still very vibrant, but will soon be turning autumnal.

We continued down to Shiplake, up to Binfield Heath and did a little detour around a couple of lanes at Sonning Common before enjoying the downhill back to Harpsden via Devil's Hill. (much better going down that up!).

Back to Mill Lane in good time and covered just 12.5 miles. A nice morning, cool as we cycled, but building up to warm again by the afternoon.
