Linda B did a recce ride with Andy on Saturday out to Warren Row, so was confident leading a ride today with me, Susie and Daphne. Unfortunately her Garmin failed, but it was familiar ground, so we were never in any danger of getting lost!
A new little connection for me was the path from Woodley Museum along a footpath section of Colemansmoor Road, emerging on the bend part way up Sandford Lane, which we then came down.
We continued through Hurst, taking the low roads, and then a climb past the vineyard at Twyford. Around past the church at Ruscombe, then up Castle End Road into Warren Row. Passing the Old Bell and Waltham St Lawrence, straight over where we sat on the 3 seats at Shurlock Row.
Finally, back via Straight Mile and through Hurst. Daphne left us near Dinton, where she had parked and we continued using Saddlers Lane to cut through the woods back to Simons Lane. Susie and Linda, continued through the woods to Bearwood road for a change.
