A quick dash out this morning before the next lot of rain comes in at noon. Just made it.

We starting our ride down the Reading Road, then down Sadlers Lane taking us through to the Bearwood Road. Next along Sindlesham Road and right passing Arborfield Church. Then took the main road towards Shinfield and into Church Lane, passing L'ortalon.
Crossing the A33 at Three Mile Cross we are back into country lanes and a view of the wind turbine across the M4 at Green Park. (took this for grandson Brân)
Soon a left turn on a bend into Kybes Lane, which continues for a while, then a right, under the railway bridge and first left towards Grazeley Green. At a cross roads a left into Goodboys Lane.

Further along Goodboys Lane, the skies are beginning to darken.

Then we emerge at this junction, where we turned left.
Then straight over at a crossroad, which bring us out at Beech Hill Road, where we turn left and climb over the A33 into Spencers Wood, but turn right at the builders merchants. Continuing on Lambs lane, we continue crossing the bridge in Kingsbridge Hill Road, and join up with Barge Lane. Then Charlton Lane and Part Lane, where we stopped part way down for our snack and drink. Whilst I went into the field over the stile for a photo, John had a chat with an old boy on the allotments.

As I was down low taking a photo, I heard a voice. "Is that you Anne? I
would recognise that bottom anywhere" lol It was Stephanie out for a ride. |
We chatted for a few minutes, then she took off, as we were both aiming to get home for a zoom call with cycling buddies at noon.
We climbed over Farley Hill, and back via the path through Hogwood Lane then 9 Mile Ride. For speed we came back using the Finch Road, and got home with 5 mins to spare, and with the first drops of rain.
