I led todays ride and met up with 5 ladies at Woosehill, and picked up 2 more in Crowthorne. A chilly start as we made our way across Wokingham, past Ludgrove School, then through Ravenswood Village and the golf course to Crowthorne.

We met up with Daphne and Barbara near Crowthorne Station and made our way to Ambarrow Lane, and then down to Eversley Cross. A little detour around the back of the pub to Hollybush Lane, where I had not ridden before. Next a stretch of the Bramshill road, which connected us to Ford Lane, Bramshill where I took a few action shots in this quiet lane.

Then we turned left into Part Lane and road to Riseley to the farm shop. Chris and Jill had led another group here today, starting at FBC, so they were ahead of us, and just leaving as we arrived. My hubby was also there for a coffee and cake with a friend. (hubby unable to cycle or drive after his recent surgery)
After a well earned cuppa, we returned via Part Lane, where a couple more action shots of the group.

Then along Swallowfield Road and up over Farley Hill via Priest Hill, which is one I had only ever come down before. Not too bad at all, then straight over and down a very messy Bunces Shaw.

We wiggled back through Hogwood, then 3 peeled off as we entered California Park. The others continued back via Nashgrove Lane, where Lisa then peeled off for Barkham Road, and finally Denise peeled off at Barkham Road. The total miles for me was 27, but Denise must have done about 35 on her round trip to Binfield. Well done!
