A new coffee stop today, to Oaktree Garden Centre at Brockhill. Much of the ride a variation on other routes, although some of the ladies didn't recognise where we were, so that always helps the element of surprise!
Cathy assisted, with Daphne, Juliette, Beverley, Carol, Alison, Sally and Clare joining us. We managed an average 11 mph, so well done ladies. Some of us met at Woosehill, with 3 joining us at Cantley.
route
We left Wokingham crossing straight over the Forest Road, then up over Carters Hill, which soon warmed us up. Then via Bottle Lane, we went out the back of Moss End, right at the green triangle (😉) where we stopped for a breather at a car park.

Nose blow and photo stop at Frost Folly Car Park, Moss End. |
Then down a lovely hill and left, passing St Michael of the Archangel Church. After some discussion, we think this might be Winkfield, but checking it out now I am home it is in WARFIELD parish. Next a left turn, passing some taller hedges, and just where they got lower, we stopped for me to photograph the views.

Waiting for the photographer on Malt Hill |
Now about half a mile on main road, which was actually quieter than Malt Hill, where at least 5 car passed us!
Into Oaktreee Garden Centre where I had reserved a table for us, the coffee appropriately decorated with a flower.

Garden centre manager Bob and his team unpacking the trees ready for sale. He knows me well, since I buy loads of customers plants from here. |
A bit a return of our outward journey as far as Bottle Lane, where we branched off left into Ryecroft Lane, into Binfield, up passed Jack o Newbury Pub, then along the Forest Road, before turning into Binfield Road. The Crowthorne ladies left us before the end of the road, and the rest of us continued back to Cantley, where some had left cars, and finally Woosehill.

Cutting through Cantley. Somewhere this is a path! |
A lovely morning to be out.
