The Breeze Amersham group invited us to join them for a ride. Rachael led, and Carole and Susie co ordinated the Bracknell group. We all met at a car park in Amersham. Hubby came along for the ride, setting off ahead of us and we met again at tea stop. He then went ahead a bit and took some additional photos.
Here is the GPS route, and the map.
Quite an early start for us, and Liliana and Carole came to my house to get a lift with us leaving at 08.15am
After a bit of traffic around Amersham, we soon headed down a long hill in the direction of Chesham, which is never good news! Our first climb followed and was 3 stages, with some nice views off to the right.
Then it levelled out and we enjoyed quiet lanes for a little while.

Soon we stopped for tea at a garden centre on the A4128. where we met up with John who had arrived 30 mins earlier, but he had been using his electric assistance.

John took the following photos, of the landscape, which I confess I didnt even notice, since we were hard at work.
A lovely long downhill into Little Missenden....
Straight over the busy A413, before yet another climb, the final one, and Rachael well ahead once more....
Cruising home on the flat.
A big thanks to the Breeze champs for organising. So nice to meet some new breeze riders, and hats off to you for cycling regularly in this undulating landscape!
