Elise led the ride today, assisted by Chris, which sadly is Elise's last ride as a Breeze Champ, since she is soon off to live in Singapore. A fair weather cyclist, we have not seen too much of Elise over the winter, so it was nice that we had a pleasant day, if a little dull for photography.
A huge thanks to Elise for all your hard work as Breeze Champ over the last few years. It's been a pleasure to know you, and admire the long distance riding you have also done on a personal level too. We are sorry to lose you, and wish you well on the next chapter of life.
A very familiar route, and at times we broke into 3 groups on any busy stretches.

Tea stop at the Church in Hartley Wintney. Denise, Kay, Jackie, Daphne, Vanessa, Sally Beverley, Lucy, Cathy, Elise and Chris |
Great to see Vanessa today back our cycling after her terrible ski injury last year. You did really well! Nice to see Beverley too out for the first time this year.
Lovely display of daffs in Hartley Wintney Green next to the church.
I went a little ahead on our return trip through Hazeley where more daffs were still in full flower.

I did 27 miles in total from home, so earned the delicious slice of Date and Apricot crumble cake. YUM!
