Lynne joined Jeanette and I today for our second outing of Woosehill Ladies Cycling Group (WLCG)
Turned out I had met Lynne a couple of times before on a breeze ride, but not for a long time.
We set off across Cantley, heading for Binfield Road, only to find that Binfield Road is closed. We doubled back to the Warren Pub, then decided to go up Carters Hill. At the top, we turned right and passed the church at Binfield, then first left into Stubbs Hill (football club) and Ryehurst Lane. At the junction with Bottle Lane, left then right at the end into Westerly Mill, looping around to return to Howe Lane.
Then over to Shurlock Row, through the village, left at the pond into Hungerford Lane.
Hinton Road, Hurst into Poplar Lane, then across into Tape Lane and back through the Hurst Lanes. The weather was perfect.
We clocked up 20 miles, and made it back before the school run, which was a relief since the cycle lane back could have been a bit busy!
