One of the regular Breeze riders Sally, had invited us to help raise some money by taking part in a "Marathon" ride during May. The charity is PACT (Parents and Children Together). We were happy to do so and paid £12 to join in todays ride, and even got a medal and certificate at the end. Thanks Sally! (oh, and a chocolate bar, but we deserved it!)
I was amazed today when several riders did not know where we were, even though they had done the route before. (and mentioning no names, some people didnt even recognise the route we went back on, having just riden it an hour earlier!), So ladies, do please take a look at todays route to see where you were.
ROUTE
Breeze is also about friendship. Because there were 14 of us, we set off in two groups, then for the return trip, we mixed up a bit, so that most people got the chance to chat at some point. A breezy day, but not a difficult route, so the 26 miles not too challenging.
