What a miserably dull morning. The potential for beautiful autumnal photos and I ended up in black and white! The sun eventually came out just before we finished our ride. Very mild though and many of us ladies "of a certain age" were rather too warm, having started out with one too many layers!
We met at Dinton Pastures and rode a now familiar route via Shurlock Row, Waltham St Lawrence, Hare Hatch, then the climb to Crazies Hill. Cuppa ( no cake!) at Velolife Bike Cafe, at Warren Row. Then back crossing over the A4 at Knowl Hill, then White Waltham and Shulock Row.

Finally some light..... 100 yards from my house! |
Thanks to Susie and Chris for organising and for everyone's company. Talk of hitting the Chilters next week to hopefully enjoy some autumn colours in the hills..... did I say hills!
