Rain is forecast for tomorrow so am expecting the Breeze Ride may be cancelled. I took the opportunity to go out with "the boys" this morning starting at Risley. We headed to Beech Hill, then Stratfield Mortimer, turning left into Pitfield Lane, looking back to the church.
A grey day!

Many fields now harvested, but plenty more that are not |

A lovely field of Cowparsley with tractor about to cut them down! |
Then on to Silchester and Little London, through Bramley and tea stop at Sherfield on Loddon (Cafe 28)
Doubled back for a short way, then right into Mill Lane, Great Drover Street and skirted around the edge of Stratfield Saye House. Over the A33, passed Daneshill School keeping left and emerging opposite Laundry Lane, around the back of Wellington Country Park.

Laundry Lane is surrounded by the very invasive Himalayan Balsam |

Pretty but a thug. |
So 26 miles. Will it rain tomorrow, or will I need to do another ride? Wet weather plan is to eat cake instead.
