I cycled to Welly to the start, clocking up 7 miles from home. A gorgeous bright morning for our ride.
Susie and Chris our champs today, led us initially out the back of Welly College and in Crowthorne High Street turned UP Lower Broadmoor Road, then DOWN Upper Broadmoor Road. Quite a steep climb, and we all felt it.
12 of us today. Linda B, Linda H, Beverley, Juliette, Jackie, Carol, Liliana, Ida, Sally and Me.
Then our familiar route across Bracknell, through Jennetts Park emerging at Peacocks Lane. Then left passing the entrance to Easthampstead Park, and crossing through Wokingham, and up the Binfield Road, where the rape crops were looking lovely.
Tea stop at Crema Coffee, where seats had been reserved.
We returned via Murrell Lane, passing the late John Nike's house. I cycled home from here directly into Wokingham around the back road, whilst the main group returned to Crowthorne.
Big thanks to Susie and Chris for organising.

Binfield Road. |
Part way along Binfield Road, looking back to Wokingham. Wish someone would straighten that post! |
Its cow parsley time too, looking in the other direction towards Binfield |
