Wokingham to Wargrave - 23 miles

The rest of the group started today at FBC Finchampstead, and I joined them in Wokingham. Heading initially towards Dinton Pastures, we turned off through the Hurst Lanes on our familiar route over to Shurlock Row.

The route

A big colourful group today of 14, led by Stephanie, and assisted by Susie. I spotted these sunbeams as we crossed over the Hurst Lanes.

Hurst Lanes
From Hurst we headed to Waltham St Lawrence via Shurlock Row.

Regrouping at Waltham St Lawrence

The Old Bell

Waltham St Lawrence Church

First through Stephanie and Judit

Next Jill and Hazel

Ravinder, Linda H and Daphne

Elise, Liliana, Kay, Susie and Carol

Linda B and Carol

Now we headed to Hare Hatch crossing straight over the A4 into Tag Lane, continuing to Victoria Road and School Road downhill into Wargrave. (got this wrong on the map).

Next into Station Road, Wargrave which at the end becomes a private road with lanes crossing many times over the River Loddon. We stopped for a photo on the second bridge, and typical that  a car then came behind us wanting to pass!

Just behond the second bridge this view towards Shiplake.

Lovely ride, perfect weather and good company as usual. Thanks Ladies. Tomorrow ....snow?
