A short ride this morning with hubby, parking next to Ye Old Belle at Hurley.
The route
We took off down a path next to the pub where we soon spotted a couple of lamas in a field. He was not interested in smiling for the camera.
A pleasant ride for 2.5 miles or so, before joining the main road in to Marlow, where the view is of Winter Hill
Having crossed the bridge we walked down a footpath next to the church to the river.
Then crossed over to find the ice cream stop.
This looks like such hard work to me!
We then followed the tow path, where lots of kids were having a picnic at Temple lock, dressed as pirates.
The view as we cross the footbridge, with the next lock, Hurley Lock in sight.

Just a short ride but good to get out, as rain is now forecast for the next few days. Not complaining. We desperately need rain here in Berkshire.
