Remenham to Northend and Turville Loop - 19 miles

Having built up a little bit of stamina these past few weeks, my hubby decided me and friend Susie should try out a ride in the Chilterns. The 3 of us set off with bikes in our van and parked at Remenham church.

The route can be seen here.    Route map

Remenham Church

Just 100 yards or so to the Thames and Susie already decides to add a hat. It's cold!

We ride along the towpath into Henley, then follow the one way system out of Henley towards Middle Assendon

Climbing up Fawley Bottom Lane out of Middle Assendon. Who said it was cold!?!!

It was fine until the last bend, at 500feet.

OK, no need to rub it in, thank you John!!

The road officially closed, but thankfully they let us through to avoid a long detour.
