So, having cycled 19 miles yesterday, I did another 20 mile ride today! My husband's cycling partner had to call off so I volunteered to accompany him. The problem is that my hubby enjoys the hills, and I well.......DON'T!
We started from Sonning Common and climbed gently to Exlade Street. Once we got there it was all downhill to Goring, other than one little rise again at Woodcote. Literally ALL downhill for miles. Woopee!! This was however bad news for later.

Autumn leaves on the way down into Goring |
Tea stop next to the river in Goring |
A quick look at the lock |
Just in time to almost miss this stream boat leaving. Loved the ripples it left behind |
And now heading uphill to Ipsden. A huge effort to climb out of Goring, and eventually we both walked it... me first of course. |
At the top, we had some great views, and it was brightening up. |
And now all downhill again! |
And finally through some Beech forests back to Sonning Common. |
